Research and development of shared machine tool monitoring services using 5G networks
The project is managed by TA ČR and is funded by the EU.
Project objectives:
The aim of the project is research and development of technological (process) monitoring of machine tools based on vibration measurement and using 5G networks for data transmission to a shared services centre. The output of the project will be a process monitoring unit and a shared service centre enabling real-time data analysis and engineering interventions in the system. In addition to process monitoring, the shared service centre will also enable technical diagnostics of key machine tool components such as spindles and drives.
